I will be doing a talk/slide show on the Caminho Portuguese this Wednesday, September 15, in Bremerton, at Collective Visions Gallery at 7 PM (free). Collective Visions is at 4th and Pacific, just a three block walk from the ferry terminal.

This spring I walked the Caminho from Porto to Santiago carrying more photographc gear than any sane person would haul on their back. But I travelled "sem Pressa" -- no hurry, taking a month to walk only about 250 kilometers, enjoying the charms of northern Portugal and Galicia and having many multi-day stays in towns along the way. This month I am one of the featured artists at Collective Visions Gallery and am displaying photography from that trip and from the Semana Santa in Braga.
