- Time of past OR future Camino
- I´m going in the beginning of june, walking from SJPP to Santiago.
Hello!
I´ve dreamt of this quite a while now, lurking the forums for many months but now it´s time.
I´ve finally decided that I´m going to start my journey in the start of June. I´m traveling alone, so it would be nice the hook up with someone in paris for the train/bus/taxi ride. I as many others have quite a few questions that i hope you guys can answer, so here we go.
Okey, first question. Is it possible or even worth the effort to bring a penny board? (It´s a smaller skateboard). Every time i hike at home and there´s even the slightest bit of downhill I crave for some wheels, not because I´m lazy but since it´s so much fun.
Second question is about the San Fermin Festival. Does any of the pilgrims stay all festival or is the first day "good enough"? And do i have to book a place to live since i assume the town will be crowded?
My third and final question (for now) is about walking the same path as Francis Tapon did (the guy who posted 10 reasons why the camino sucks), you can see the map if you scroll down a bit on this link: http://francistapon.com/Travels/Spain-Trails/10-Reasons-Why-El-Camino-Santiago-Sucks.
I can find anywhere to read about this path, do i need a tent or is it just as CF, compostellas etc? Is this path dedicated to more experienced hikers? Does anyone know things about this path worth sharing, please do!
I would be so glad for all the help I could get!
Thanks for reading
