Forum meet-up in Onarga, Illinois

Today @jpflavin1 drove south and I drove north, and we met at Cazadores Tacos in Onarga. Joe is leaving for Sevilla and the Vdlp next Monday, so we talked albergues, stages, etc. What could be more fun than that? Except for the fact that I was so jealous that he doesn’t have to wait almost three more months like I do! @Camino Chris, I was thinking we should have asked you to join, but decided it was way too far for you. Any other forum members in the area? We could have a larger group next time. Buen camino, Laurie

By my hat, you will know me. See my cherubic Guardian Angel pin from the Cathedal at Santiago. His name is 'Rufus.' His clone, on my sun hat, is named 'Ralph.' They go everywhere with me. I take no chances...

As a child growing up, we were told we could name our Guardian Angel anything we wanted... So, I did...

Chris, thanks for posting the photos... Enjoy the rest of your Florida vacation...

Thank you, I used to buy these Aloha shirts in the Liberty department store in Honolulu when I went there for work, some 25 years ago. Over he years, I managed to accumulate about a dozen.

While not exactly Santiago wear, when I am there, they are de rigeur living in South Florida.

It was a delight to meet with Camino Chris again. Always good to meet with Camino friends...anywhere, anytime.

So nice you are able to meet up! I must admit I'm just slightly envious. Enjoy! And enjoy the nice weather.

WOW, Laurie you are looking great and Tom you are looking quite buff and tan. I love the beard.
It is nice to met Joe and Chris.
Happy trails to all on 2019.
