Forwarding Luggage from St. Jean to Santiago

Is there a way to forward some luggage from the St. Jean to Santiago?

I would like to have some extra things waiting for me whenI arrive in Santiago. I thought I read there was a free forwarding service. If so, is this only from town-to-town, or is there a way to ship/ forward one bag from St. Jean to end at Santiago?

Thanks...leaving in a week and a bit anxious.

Hi Bailey,

I run a storage service in Santiago, so you could send your box/bag ahead to me. More on that here.

The alternative would be to ship your bag ahead to a post office in Spain. They will store your bag for 14 days, so you may have to ship it a few times if you are walking for 30 days.

Buen camino!

Greetings from Santiago,
Ivar

The only practical way to forward something all the way to Santiago is by mail. The Post Office in SJPdP is along the street between the train station and the Pilgrim Office. Since you are making an international shipment it is more expensive than shipping within Spain.

Hi Ivar, is there a more up to date link for your storage service and current process for sending things forward if necessary? Thanks

This is a great service Ivar. Can you confirm if your luggage storage service is still active? Just wanted to double check before sending our luggage to you from Logrono. Gracias!
