- Time of past OR future Camino
- Francese 2002, Cami San Jaume 2018, Norte 2023
Spring Gathering, Maritime Chapter of the Canadian Company of Pilgrims
Saturday, March 29: 9 AM -1PM
St. Thomas University, Fredericton
Brian Mulroney Hall, Room 101
Please RSVP now pmckin5750@rogers.com
All with an interest in and/or experience with the Camino de Santiago de Compostela are invited to attend. There is no registration fee, but a Donativo (voluntary contribution) will be accepted. Please bring a dish for the noon hour "pot luck" pilgrim lunch. (Bread, soup, salad, casserole, sweets). Any and all contributions are welcome.
The agenda will include presentations from 2013 pilgrims:
- Susan Belfry and Pieter Natte (to include an annotated slide show, complemented with appropriate Spanish music).
- Heather McNeill, who finished hard on the heels of Susan and Pieter.
- Candy Watson, who completed her Camino on October 23, kept notes every day, and will share her reflections with us.
- Decisions on times and locations for group outings through the spring and summer, to help prospective pilgrims prepare to walk and to spend time with camino veterans.
-Discussion of the next Fredericton-based Hospitalero training program conducted by Mary Virtue and Tom Friesen (best dates?)
Let me know if you have other agenda ideas, and please invite friends who might be interested in the gathering, and in the Camino. If you send me their e-mail addresses, I'll add them to the mailing list.
See you all next month!
Sincerely,
Kevin McKinney, Convenor
