Experienced Volunteer Available for Up to 2 Weeks in Southern Spain

Colette Z

Happy Pilgrim
Time of past OR future Camino
CF; Norte; Ingles; Augustine; Portugues Central
I’m available as of Feb 15th to volunteer as a hospitalera of a smaller albergue or help out for a up to 2 weeks anywhere. I am in southern Spain on the coast currently, have a car and traveling with my older hound. I don’t have the official “training” but have a lot of life experience that I believe is sufficient to volunteer at an albergue. I’d appreciate replies only from those with actual info ☺️

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!

I hope someone responds to your kind offer Colette. You have a lot of experience and love of the camino to share with others.
Buen camino

Good luck with your search Colette. I have volunteered on 6 occasions and would like to be able to do it more often but now that I have a dog I would need to find a sitter for her.

I personally don't know of any albergue where you would be allowed to bring your dog with you but let me know if you find one!

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
The other thing is that there are fewer places to volunteer in the winter...might check some pet friendly places to see if they are open? I know @LavanyaLea has found some on her Caminos? Maybe she will reply.
