From Madrid to Logrõno

Susanne

New Member
Hello :)

I will be doing my first Camino in July, and as I only have 21 days I plan on starting in Logrõno. I will be arriving in Madrid on July 15th at 18:45 and would like to either catch a late bus/train or the earliest on the 16th.

What is the quickest - least expensive?

If I need to stay the night in Madrid, can you recommend something?

:) Kindest regards,
Susanne - Denmark

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

bus is your best bet. see http://www.continental-auto.es
You're arriving rather late to catch a bus to Logroño that day, but you could perhaps get one part way. When I went Madrid-Logroño the buses went from Continental's depot in the N part of the city, but I think now they all leave from the main bus stn in Avenida de America.

I have stopped in a variety of hotels in Madrid. There are some reasonable ones in the city centre, not overpriced as capital cities go, and as it's a weekend you might get a good rate. There's an English search engine at http://www.descubremadrid.com/en/buscad ... dormir.asp

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
