Except for three cloudy days in January, the weather almanac shows that it has rained or snowed in Santiago every day in January and February this year! Lluvia for sure.
Yup! The rain in Spain falls mainly...on Galicia. Philip Wren was right!
Just be glad it is not snow. The standard conversion rate is one inch of rain (3 cm) to about 10 inches of snow (@ 30 cm). If you do the math, and if it were cold enough at Santiago, they would still be digging the place out in April and May.
