Fundraiser for the Spanish Red Cross

I know that many forum members are looking for ways to donate. I think it’s great that some are trying to find ways to help their favorite, and surely stressed, camino business, but another thought would be to donate directly to the health crisis.

Some of my Spanish friends have sent me a link to a song by Vanesa Martin, a popular Spanish singer and songwriter. She has just put out this video of a new song, Canto a la Vida.

Her website gives details on how to donate. It’s easy with a credit card. All money collected will go directly to the Spanish Red Cross.

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
thankyou for this Laurie - I trust the Red Cross...
I fumbled around to start... trying to donate 'with registration'....but couldn't get anywhere .

It went through very easily once I chose ;
‘donate without registering'...

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
I live here in Mexico and the social safety net is as thin as can be. I am contributing here. It is so sad but so true, rich or poor countries, everyone needs more help.

As an FYI, some Chase cards will bounce. Chase seems to be paranoid about sending funds to Spain. I've run into this before Amex and others will work just fine.
In times like this it’s sad that banks can continue to ‘make money’ from genuine help - I know if I used my normal Ozzie cards I would spend quite a bit on bank fees and for me they are unrecoverable.. just wasted money. I use my travel money card which is already in Euros. So all my donation went to the Red Cross in spain. (Unfortunately the Red Cross has admin fees but we can’t be quibbling over this now).

I agreee- “all for one and one for all “

In our most recent disaster in Australia (the fires) - the whole world sent support ! We Australians must remember. But regardless of us being supported recently or not ‘ If you can help others- please do’

I love this and want to donate but am having so many problems. First in registering the zip code won’t produce a municipality so I can complete the donation. Then I try without registering and none of my credit cards get accepted. I would love advise.
