Hello to you all,

One week before we leave home to join Sevilla...

Regarding our future stop over in Galisteo, i would like to have your feelings and comments about this Hostal. Rooms, food, cleaness...

Thanks you in advance.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-
Hi!

I stayed there last september. Everything was fine. The room was clean and quiet, the food excellent and they serve a decent breakfast at an early hour.

I experienced a very warm welcome and a friendly service. This is a family run operation with the father and mother at the bar, the son as a chef (excellent) and the daughter in law at the room service. They are true emigrantes who have returned to their home town after spending their active life in France, Australia and other countries which I forgot the names. Hence, they speak many languages.

You will hit that hostal as you come into town, before turning left to go up inside the walls.

Enjoy!
Jean-Marc

she is fluent in French.

She is indeed, as well as in English with a mix of Spanish and Aussie accents; cute to my French ear!!!

We stayed there in April 2008. Clean, not expensive, OK. They were very helpful and phoned ahead for us to Hostal Asturias to be picked up at the Caparra in the afternoon. Bjørg

A guide to speaking Spanish on the Camino - enrich your pilgrim experience.
I did stop there to drink something last year and had lunch. The man in the bar has worked in Holland, started talking dutch to me immediately. The people were very friendly, the food good and I heared the rooms were fine to.

Back home and a short line about this Bar los Emigrantes.
You were right, not possible to miss it when arriving from the Camino in Galisteo.
Lodging is very basic but clean. A Tv set and climatization (hot and cold i suppose, as we only experienced heating). Two beds and nothing else.
Staff very friendly and ready to help. Food, correct not more not less. We paid Euros 20 for the room and 12 euros p/person for diner as we took the sunday menu. There is a cheaper menu.
