Gatwick Airport to Stansted Airport

Could anyone tell me how to get from Gatwick Airport to Stansted Airport to connect for a ryanair flight? How long would it take and how much??

There are flights from Santiago to Stansed, would it be easier to get to Madrid and then a flight from there goes into Gatwick.

There may well be buses, but train is probably faster: you can look up times and book at http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/

Santiago to Madrid takes most of the day; only recommended if connections in London are poor (or you want to visit Madrid of course )

William thanks so much for the awesome information. i'll check out the website fir the bus and train schedule.

Peter thanks as well. No I don't really want to see Madrid, however the flights that leave Santiago arrive in stansted at 2:35pm, my flight (which i haven't booked) would be around 4pm. So that means a night near stansted or Gatwick. Any cheap hostels around???

From Madrid the flight flys into Gatwick, where my flight would depart for canada. I guess i will need to overnight somewhere.
Can a person sleep in the airports still?

There are youth hostels http://www.yha.org.uk and other cheapo backpackers' hostels in London itself - depends if that's your scene. Don't think there are any around STN or LGW though. Plenty of other accommodation; expect to pay GBP30 for B&B or guest house, more for hotels. Either book in advance or at the airport when you arrive.
