Getting from Biarritz to ST Jean Pied De Port

Hi

I am flying out on Monday and will be in Biarritz around 4.30. If anyone could advise me on the best way to get to ST Jean Pied De Port and how long it will take I would be much appreciated.

Also on suitable places to stay the night in ST Jean Pied De Port. Apologise I am not very planned

Regards
Timmy

Take a city bus or taxi from the Biarritz airport to the Bayonne train station, and take the train from Bayonne to SJPdP for about 10E (buses are being substituted at the moment, but tickets are sold at the train station, and the buses leave from there).

At this late date, accommodation reservations in SJPdP may be difficult. Go to the Pilgrim Office and they will help you find a bed. They operate a no-reservation gite, and normally have a bed right there.

Thank you very much. Do buses go throughout the evening from Bayonne to SJPDP?
