I am planning to do El Camino Primitivo starting at A Fonsagrada next September. Does anyone know the best way to get from Madrid to A Fonsagrada, either by train, bus or plane? I haven't been able to find any route that takes less than 7 hrs! Thanks and Buen Camino!

This bus company has servie from Lugo to A Fonsagrada. You may need to get to Lugo and then try to time the bus.

Yes, Lugo to A Fonsagrada works, which means needing to travel from Madrid to either Santiago or A Coruña. Travel to Oviedo/Asturias does not work as there is no public transport after Grandas de Salime towards A Fonsagrada, only expensive taxi.... for 25+kms

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
