Getting ready

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Looks like you’ve planned a section of spain (Sevilla to Cáceres?) that has a good chance of nice walking weather. Good one !!

Yes to Caceres. Rain in the forecast for three days Wednesday to Friday. Will be challenging as on previous caminos almost never dealt with rain.

Thank you.
But not going all the way this time. Maybe another time.

Hello Annie. Sorry not to get back to you earlier. I think my Bishop and my mother would both have a fit if they thought I was going to be away at Christmas! No. I am doing the VdlP in six stages over the course of a year. It's the only way I can get to do it. So just this last week I have walked Seville to Monesterio. In January I'll be doing Monesterio to Mérida, then for 12 days in February Mérida to Salamanca. Then the plan is five days in March to get to Granja de Moreruela. Five days in April to do Granja to Puebla de Sanabria. Finally (being averse to the heat of summer) Puebla de Sanabria to Santiago over 12 days in October.

If you're interested I'm blogging it at https://frjulianscamino.blogspot.com

aha. I guess being away at Christmas might have been ‘tricky’ for you. I’ll definitely read your blog. I’m sure you’re very happy with your week or so on your first stage of the Vdlp.
I loved it earlier this year in April /May.
Can’t wait to return to finish off myself from Tábara (on Sanabrés).

Buen camino for your next 5 stages
Annie
