Getting to Barcelona from...

Amigos,
I will need to get to Barcelona after a four or five day walk from SJPDP (this time). Can you provide any guidance as to train,bus, bus then train, hitch hiking (last resort), etc.?

Your wisdom borne of experience is much appreciated.

Difficult to give specifics as it depends how far you get in your four or five days but http://www.autobusesdenavarra.com will give you a guide for bus routes on the way and if you can get back to Pamplona then there are daily trains to Barcelona (see http://www.renfe.com/EN/viajeros/index.html)

Thaks for the quick response. There are two towns called Puente la Reina on the schedule: one with the suffix NA and the other de Jaca (H).

Which one is on the camino, 4th day destination?

Hi,

I think the (NA) and (H) indicate the province i.e. Navarra or Huesca. The one in Navarra is the 4th day stop in that case.
