hi everyone, im walking the Camino in august from Leon, im really looking forward to it.
does any one know if this is an ok time to walk it, just wondering if it might be to hot, also wondering if it might be more students walking it at this time, dont get me wrong i dont dislike students, however im 36 would not want to cramp there style if this is more a younger persons time to walk it . any tips or advice would be greatly received.
i hope every ones well
cheers for now

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!
August will be hot, and you can expect a lot of fellow pilgrims since Europe seems to take a collective holiday in August. The crowd will include college students, though they seem to interact even with older pilgrims, so don't worry about cramping their style. The young do seek out one another for the socializing and partying, though the party may tend toward a group dinner with lots of wine!

Oddly enough, I was a student at 36 years old, and made my first camino in a long university summer.
