Going from Bordeaux Airport to Sain Jean Pied de Port

I'm helping a friend to prepare the Camino Frances, and we have a doubt.
He arrives at Bordeaux Airport in 29th of April at 15:20 and the last train to Sain Jean Pied de Port leaves the Bordeaux Train Station at 15:02.
Which alternative he can take to start the camino in 30th of April?
I will make the last 114km with him starting in Sarria.

Could get the bus to Bayonne,3 hours 50 mins about 10euros.then the train to St jean

Hi, there is another train at 18,45 to bayonne arriving at SJPP at 22,08

We're seeing the alternative to stay at Bayonne and take the train next morning taking the same train.

He might be doing this. Take the bus to Bayonne, sleep there and take the first train to Saint Jean
