Hello

I have seen that the company camino way offers a tour for pilgrimage to rome http://francigenaways.com/ways/via-francigena/via-francigena-full-cycle for which they give this free gps route http://ridewithgps.com/routes/4698717 . I would like to know from those who have walked in the past if this is a realistic route and can be used as sole/main directions for this pilgrimage without leading to one become very lost. I plan to bike london to rome and leave for london on 15 June 2014 and I am getting very nervous about getting lost as I read the path is not well marked. I have not found any reference to others using this GPS route. Which is causing some of the nerves about this pilgrimage.

Thank you
Debra
