Greetings to all peregrinos!

Time of past OR future Camino
Starting May 18th in Burgos to Santiago
Greetings all!

I did my camino from May 18th to June 14th 2017.
It was fantastic.
As a norwegian- i'm used to mountains and hills so when i entered the meseta- this was an absolutely new experience for me. I simply loved it. The great wide open landscape really made me humble -and at the same time- very close to nature.
When i entered Galicia- it was like home. Fantastic area -with the most friendly people i've ever met.
Greetings to Edward Pultar for nice talks!

So- i plan for another trip next year (yes- i'm camono-addicted)

Buen camino to all who finished, to all en route, and to all who i might meet next year!

HĂĄvard

PS: When you reach Hontanas- visit my second home on the Camino - and one of the places i will definitly remember from my camino 2017. 18581791_456371848035170_3128176158254049806_n – Kopi.jpg
Many thanks to Svetlana and Manuel who shared their story and for the fantastic paella and hospitality.
The atmosphere was outstanding. Gracias!

Hi HĂĄvard
I so agree with what you have written. I loved the meseta because it was like my home but I also loved the mountains because they weren't like my home. Staying with Svetlana and Manuel in Hontanas was definitely a highlight.

Thank you for your words.
You say that and probably you didn´t see the Rias that are like small fjords.

Indeed- it was so nice in Galicia. O Cebreiro and the mountains around. Maybe i should plan for Camino Norte next time- just to experience the coast line..?

The Norte is fantastic but there aren´t big Rias on the way. In Galicia only Ribadeo.
The big Rias are in the SW (Vigo, Arousa) I Haven´'t done the Portuguese yet but maybe on that Camino you can see the Vigo Ria well.

Sound very exciting. Camino Portugeese could be an option.
