I have a Samsung S7 and when you open a foreign website it will ask if you want it translate in a other language .
You make a choice and thats it.
And when I open the Gronze website now it will open in Spanish and a few seconds later it is in English.
Wish you well,Peter.

Note: This involves steps that are best accomplished prior to leaving home.

Here are the instructions for downloading a complete route on Eroski. You can use the same basic process on Gronze.com, but it is much more time consuming because you need to do the process for each individual stage.

It is machine translation, so it might not be perfect, but for me it is much more than adequate.

It seems easiest to do it on a PC first, then transfer it to the phone or tablet. My instructions are based on using Windows 10 and the Chrome Browser (though I originally did it on Windows 7 and it was very similar):
http://caminodesantiago.consumer.es/llevatela-al-camino/completa/?camino=camino-frances
http://caminodesantiago.consumer.es/llevatela-al-camino/completa/?camino=via-de-la-plata
http://caminodesantiago.consumer.es/llevatela-al-camino/completa/?camino=camino-portugues
Etc.

If you want English, right-click, select "Translate to English" (review for accuracy and completeness). It might take a minute or two to translate the whole document.
Right-Click "Print.."
Change Destination to "Save as PDF"

(Then copy it to your phone via email, cable, Dropbox, or other method. Importing to iBooks is great for iOS).

¡Buen camino!

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-
Thankyou.... will spend my Saturday sorting and playing IT
Buen Camino

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.

Just use Chrome it will translate for you

New Original Camino Gear Designed Especially with The Modern Peregrino In Mind!
@DeniseT Are you using Safari? Try downloading Google Chrome from the AppStore. Chrome will prompt you to translate the page. I have been learning Spanish, but still need my training wheels. I just tested www.gronze.com and it defaulted to a server page, so I entered https://www.gronze.com and it worked fine.
Great advice thank you. I just downloaded google chrome to my I phone and got Gronze and Eroski translated in to English.

You can also paste a URI into translate.google.com and see a bad translation of the web page. (The same bad translation you get if you use Chrome).

St James' Way - Self-guided 4-7 day Walking Packages, Reading to Southampton, 110 kms
Does anyone know a way to use Gronze offline?
Assuming you have the facility if on a phone and easy on a computer.
Phone - look at 'settings' when browser is open, or where you select to bookmark a page. Check 'save for offline reading'
Computer 'File' > 'save page as' and select downloads as destination.
This is slow, either way, as each page has to be done separately and also maybe accessed individually as the links might not work.

In Safari, "save to reading list" is simpler/faster, and I have seen a similar function in at least one other browser.

The same information and more can be had in English on the www.wisepilgrim.com site.
Disclaimer: I'm the author, I created the site for English speaking pilgrims and felt the need to post here since so many people are jumping through hoops to translate a Spanish site when there isn't much need to.

gronze.com will come in English on Android phone. Works on my old Samsung. My brand new iPad sticks to Spanish. Enjoy walking and confine browsing to bin buen camino

Gronze offers an English page when I use my android phone - I think using the Chrome browser. It may do so on other devices if you create an account and log-in.
Anyone tried that at all?

Yes. Chrome will definitely translate on iOS as well. Buen Camino.
