The Brierly guide book is very good.
BRIERLEY, John. A pilgrims guide to the Camino Frances - Findhorn Press - covering St Jean Pied de Port to Santiago de Compostela

The CSG guide is very good because it is so up to date which other books are not, but it is not a route guide. There is also a short booklet the Cycling Pilgrim published by the CSJ which is useful

HIGGINSON, John. The way of St James – A Cyclists Guide.
- Milnthorpe: Cicerone Press - covering le Puy to the Pyrenees to
Santiago and Finisterre. [A compact guide]
