I would like to ask those who know or have recently been in the pilgrim office in SJPDP if there I can buy Guide for the Camino Frances?

I fail to find it in my country, an for ordering from Amazon is already too late....

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

€60,-
The pilgrim office and the Tourist Office in SJPDP both have free information including a list of albergues, and distances. I'm not sure if they sell guides, but plenty of other places (shops) in SJPDP do. And you really don't need a guide to walk the Camino Frances, the route is very clearly marked with yellow arrows and from SJPDP there are usually so many people leaving during summer you just follow all the other pilgrims. A guide is useful for additional information; historical and cultural history, more detailed maps and notes on other services .

These online websites are also helpful.

I carried Kindle with Kelly's guide downloaded. It is not too late to do that (if you have a Kindle, which for me also carried spiritual books, recreational books, lists of alburgues, .pdfs of other guide books, travel notes for return, etc.). Otherwise, I did not see guidebooks in the pilgrim office (although we left our hard copy of Brierely there). But Kanga is right--you don't really need a guidebook, or you can borrow a guidebook from any one of your 200 new friends who will be walking along with you. It even gives you a place to begin conversations with new friends you have not met yet.

Buen Camino,

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
@MelaCro Saw the guides at the store right across the Pilgrim Office at SJPDP this morning. You'll be fine... :)
