Be aware after leaving Guimaraes the last food before Braga is in Caldelas, and it is a long day to Braga with a 1500 ft climb and descent at the end when you are tired. But just before the top the Camino path crosses a dirt track that will take you to the left to the nearby 4 star Golden Tulip Hotel, (€39 double room in Oct), and two restaurants.
