On this very evening, 2000 years ago, James son of Zebedee would have been lighting the first candle or oil lamp in order to celebrate the Chanukah holidays. We Jewish pilgrims are a rare breed but we are out here - almost 200 from Israel make it to Santiago de Compostela every year. I wish all members of the forum an early Merry Christmas, a wonderful New Year, for those sharing a similar Jewish pesuasion Happy Chanukah, and of course Buen Camino.
