Yes today was a great day in many ways.I started in Olveirora and walked to Muxia 31km through beautiful country.Fantastic autumn colors. Not many wete walking and for the first 4 hours was alone but happy out taking pics and enjoying the views.
I came into one town Moraime I think and saluted a local man sitting at a corner.Between my very little Spanish and his very limited English he got that I was Irish. "Dubi" he said,I knew he was saying Dublin. Then he said," Jham jooi" That threw me,then it came to me and I said James Joyce and Ulysses,he danced with excitment and so did I. With hand signals but of us agreed that Ulysses was too heavy for each of us,but we smiled and laughed there in a Galician village.I took a selfie with him and we parted but that chance meeting lifted my spirits and with a spring in my step I walked to Muxia. Getting my first glimpse of sea descending also lifted my spirits.
On the walk into Muxia I was thinking of times when walking the French way when an Albergue owner or worker often took me bag on arrival and carried it to my bed.Well it was serendipety indeed when on arrival at Albergue Bella as I fumbled for my passport the owner said,"relax,we will do later" and lifted my bag and carried it to my bed.
Later I went to see the Muxia sights and had a beautiful seafood meal at the Marine.
Quite a few are staying here tonight.

Very jealous Paddy! But great to hear that you've reached Muxia! Ulysses is definitely an unusual response to being from Ireland! Finishing a camino is much easier than wading through Ulysses! Well done on both fronts!
