Happy New Year everyone.

May hope, kindness and patience increase throughout the world in 2021

Whatever our location, ethnicity or beliefs, those who dream of walking or have walked the Camino share common bonds.

Although physically all may not be in Santiago de Compostela nevertheless we yearn to hear the massive cathedral bells peal in celebration of this most special Holy Year.

At home in France I, too, shall, as always, listen for those far-distant bells.

May the hope of this celebratory moment continue throughout the New Year,

Carpe diem and, in the truest sense,
Ultreia!

Margaret, when I started lurking on the forum in 2014 before joining in 2017, it was your presence and participation here that did, and does, leave a very lasting impression for me...a permanent "sello" in my mind.
Wishing you a happy and healthy 2021. 🤗

I have a confession. I am terrified of - and yes now feel free to laugh - the top bed in bunks with no railing/fence (something to stop you falling out). I've managed to get away with it except...

I was looking at the wisepilgrim app for the Frances route and noticed that the distances don't always add up from one side to the other. Has anyone else noticed this? Am I being overly observant...
Today is Sunday and I finished my Camino from León on Friday. The thing is I am feeling off balanced. I feel like I am not done. Last night I started feeling anxious with the thought of going back...
