Greetings from Jerusalem,
Feliz año nuevo! Friday afternoon in Jerusalem, Shimon Peres has just been accompanied on his way, quiet as all business has shut down in honor of our Sabbath, same tomorrow, Sunday will be a madhouse since for a few hours we all try to find what we need or have forgotten for the holiday, last minute presents, food, wine, flowers. Then two days of our holiday. I will take these few hours of tranquility to wish all our Jewish brethren, those on the Camino, those at home, those planning, a very Happy New Year, a gentle year of peace and understanding, tolerence and enlightenment. May it be God's will that we all enjoy a very good year!
