Has anyone bought a SIM card in BURGOS lately?

I have an unlocked iPhone 4s that I will be taking with me. I need to buy a SIM card for it either at the airport in Madrid, or when I arrive in Burgos. Does anyone know of a location where I can buy a SIM at either of these places?

I won't need to make many (if any) phone calls, but I will need to be able to contact my friends who I am meeting in Burgos. (I will likely text more than anything.) Once I meet them, I will have little need for actual phone calls. Hopefully I can find enough free WiFi to check email and upload pics to Facebook in the evenings. (Do you think a data package is necessary?)

If you have recently purchased SIM cards or data services, can you tell me what carrier you used, how much it cost, etc? I'm hoping to find the most recent rates. My camino begins in 2 weeks!

I also hope to find a wall plug that has 2-4 USB sockets on it, so that I can charge my phone and camera at the same time. (And hopefully have a socket or 2 available to share.) Can those be found in mobile phone shops?

I bought a Orange SIM card (July 2013) with 1GB of data for a month for 15 euros and had to add 5 euros for voice/text credit at Madrid airport, I only made a couple of calls and used the data primarily, there were only a few places I could not get data service, If I were to buy a new SIM card I'd get this one

The wall plug splitter can be found at a local ferriteria (hardware store) and possibly the USB sockets as well. There are a few small electronics stores in the heart of Burgos by the cathedral.
People will tell you to rely on wifi, but I find it a pain to ask for the password at the cafe/bar/albergue, I was able to use my iPhone like I would at home, post FB photos, and check in when I wanted. The first thing most people do when they stop at the cafe/bar for their morning break, is ask for the wifi password when ordering their morning cafe con leche, it was like that every morning.
It was nice not to have to rely on wifi, you could call ahead or book a albergue/hotel at your convenience and not have to wait to get in a wifi zone.
