Walked Sarria to Santiago
My wife and I with some friends just walked Sarria to Santiago Sept 1 to 6. Have started dreaming of the 800.
Did you guys similarly experience this call to return just after your walk. St James is still doing his work !
BTW, Manny D, are you a Salesian ? We are friends of Fr. Degs. Viente

Hola Vincente,
Welcome to the forum. I think many return to the Camino after their first experience.
Buen Camino

Hello vicente,

The camino to santiago is very addictive. As soon as you have finished and returned to your homeland, you will already be thinking and planning your next camino.

I believe i met some members of your group at the oficina del peregrino in santiago or another group from the philippines led by a priest while i was issuing compostelas in september. I am currently in manila for the next 14 days and i will be dropping by makati to pay a visit to father manny.

Buen camino to your future caminos.

Congratulations! You have been infected the incurable Camino-Virus. The only known remedies are staying in contact with other pilgrims (via forums and / or associations) and planning and walking your next Camino ASAP.
Buen Camino! SY

PS Most of the people here on this forum, myself included, suffer from the same problem ;-)
