Just a quick greeting to all of you.... at the end of day 4 here on our Way and have stopped at Albergue ANFAS for the night in Estella. It has been a quiet Camino for us these past four days, seeing some of the same faces during the day, but not many people in general. A hundred times less than what I was expecting. We are walking alone for most of the day and it is actually really nice.

Having a shorter day tomorrow to Los Arcos and after that who knows? We are enjoying our time here and I just wanted to thank everyone on here, without which I do not think I would have felt as prepared as I did for this trip.

Wishing everyone else out there on the Way-- buen camino.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
It is interesting that you are not seeing the crowds. Up untill now...we have been hearing about the huge numbers on the Camino. You may just be in between the groups, or the crowds may have thined out now.
I do know that when I arrived in St. Jean from Le Puy after 30 days walking in France, the crowds in SJPdP were overwhelming. This was the 1st of May. Many, many more people than I have seen on any previous Camino.
Maybe the rush is over.
