Hello from London 👋

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!
Hey, I'm Kate from London.

I'll be heading out on the 21st of October to do the Finisterre route, ambitiously looking to walk it in 3.5 days.

Will gladly receive all advice regarding kit, weather, places to eat/sea.
Hello donutqueen; from where to Finisterre?
If from Santiago, it can be done but you’ll be doing long walks each day.

(BTW, nice ID pic. I have a similar one here, facing the other way! 😂)

Perfect memento/gift in a presentation box. Engraving available, 25 character max.
Hi Kate, welcome to the forum. I see that this is your first post.

Gronze is a great source of information about places to stay. It also shows the intermediate stopping points for coffee/food etc.,which will be particularly helpful on day 2.

Re. your 3.5 days of walking (presumably from Santiago?) - this fits perfectly with the Gronze information. In an ideal world we'd all have more time, but 3.5 days is realistic IMO opinion for a reasonably fit person with a comfortable backpack and shoes. I'm not young or super-fit, but that's how I would do it.

I know you didn't ask for advice on the 3.5 days piece, we're very generous with our opinions here!

Re. what to bring: you'll find lots of posts on that here.
My tuppence worth is to keep it light, wear shoes rather than boots and plan for rain!

Happy planning and Buen Camino!

HI Kate,
I have just returned from doing my first Camino . Started in A Coruna, an often over looked route . It was truly beautiful , full of forest walks and mainly rural all the way except for the coming out of Coruna and entering Santiago. If you are pressed for time ( 3.5 days) I would suggest you have a look at this . Pretty quiet on the 1st day but after that we met lots of lovely pilgrims. It was manageable in 3 days, weather was wet and sunny and a variety of hotels were available. It is perfect for a 3 day Camino allowing you to enjoy it but also challenging in parts,(33km on the first day and quite an ascent on the first day. we were treated to beautiful views and welcoming bars along the way. Hope you have a good time, whichever route you take.
The only draw back is that it is only 75km , you have to do a 25 km walk at a recognised camino in UK or Ireland of which there are many. Take the evidence with you to get a completed Camino. Santiago is fabulous.
Bon Camino
