Help finding a Video Editor for my Tablet

Time of past OR future Camino
2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, (2021)
I have watched many YouTube Vlogs. They are (seem to be) edited while on the Camino, and posted daily.

I am a Video-NewBee and don't need anything too powerful (and confusing).
Can anyone recommend a Video Editor for my Samsung Tablet. It uses Andriod 7.0.

I have searched and they mention looking for one that has....
-no water marks
-no (not too many) ads
-does not require an immediate upgrade

I am also against Apps that want permission to access everything (why does a Video Editor require access to my Contacts?)
It doesn't have to be “free”, but I don't want to “try” several Video Editors, only to find out, they are not as advertised.

Hi,

I would recommend iMovie if you are using an iPad. If not using IOS than try out a number of products before you travel. If you are using iMovie it may be worthwhile paying for training with something like Lynda.com (there are lots of other sites offering training). I suggest that editing will not be the issue. Learning to shoot is key. Shoot some of your training walks before your go. Like training, the more you practice... You might think about getting a gamble or some kind of steadycam to make sure your shots are stable. Too much camera movement is the bane of editors. You will also need a good microphone. The built in ones are generally dreadful. So a good lapel mic is critical. The audience will put up with poor pictures but bad audio is a killer. Check out the various videos on YouTube and learn from them. Finally a word of caution! Shooting the video may distract from the experience. It may become a burden and a 'thing' you have to do. The video will not capture the experience, no video can. The point of the Camino is you just need to think of one foot in front of the other. I loved my Camino because there were very few choices -- black or white coffee and just one road to take. Hope this helps. BC

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Sorry for reviving this, but someone might need this info.
KineMaster. It's tablet-friendly, pretty easy to navigate, and doesn't require a steep learning curve, which is great for a beginner.

I've been using Movavi, a free video editing software I found on https://www.movavi.com/learning-portal/free-video-editing-software-no-watermark.html.
It doesn't leave any watermarks on your footage, which I really appreciate (definitely a notch above some out there!). Plus, it's pretty user-friendly, so even if you're a newbie, you should get the hang of it quickly. It's been handling my editing needs quite well so far, so I thought I'd share.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
