HELP! I can't read French!!! Mont St Michel & Brittany

Lol catchy title...but seriously now. :lol:

I am walking to Santiago from Winchester via Normandy and Mont St Michel, meeting up with the Tours route at St Jean d'Angely. However I am having trouble in finding English titles for this route, can anyone help?

I've heard that the Normandy tourism dept does a route pack from Cherbourg to Mont St Michel to coincide with the Hampshire county councils millenium trail, from Winchester to Portsmouth, but have been unable to obtain a copy; does anyone know where to obtain one or an alternative?

I have, thanks to Arn, come across two guides by l'Association bretonne des amis de Saint-Jacques de Compostelle entitled Les Chemins de Saint-Jacques en Bretagne & Le Chemin du Mont-Saint-Michel which from first appearences sound ideal. However they are in French, which I haven't studied since primary school. Can anyone help find an English copy? Or alternatively are they set out in such a way that a command of the French language can be over-looked e.g. good quality easy to follow maps?

If you want to go the other way, via Angers, the so-called Plantagenets Way, Lightfoot http://pilgrimagepublications.com/ are publishing an English guide later this month. That however is only briefly in Brittany. Lightfoot have already published a guide to Winchester-MSM. Those are the only English guides I'm aware of.

The second Lightfoot guide documenting the route between Mont St Michel & St Jean d'Angely has now been published. If it follows the easy to comprehend style of the first I anticipate it to be of great use to any walking this route.

I'm exploring all types of European pilgrimages to take one or more of nieces on this year or next. I would like to find just the right adventure! My sister's whole family watches a video series online titled, Olive Us. A most recently explored a walking pilgrimage to Mont Saint Michel, and yet nothing online tells me how to WALK to it.

You're right...I didn't give much detail! I have twin nieces who next year will both be 13. I'd like to take them both on a European pilgrimage or something in European which will be quite memorable, not just the typical, "Let's go see the Eiffel Tower" trip. A pilgrimage would give us memories to last a lifetime. I don't think it could be something really far & long, however. Even my Porto-Santiago Camino seems it might be too long and lose some fun-factor! I'm looking all over the Internet to see what types of pilgrimages there are (of course we could start pilgrimages where we wanted, wouldn't have to do entire routes). I guess the kids all saw a short video about Mont St Michele and were memorized by it. The twins don't yet know Aunt Anna has plans for them next year! We are Skyping this weekend, and I get to surprise them with the news. And I would like them to choose the place and then help plan it. But I have to narrow it down for them, I think. I don't think I can give them too much at once. Although, as I'm writing, I'm thinking...I could start with telling them we're going abroad and to spend a little time thinking about what they would like to do and see. Then Skype again sooner rather than later to see what they have come up with? Anyway...I just know my one and only short Camino was life-changing, and I immediately realized when it was over 1) I would want to do something like this again and again! and 2) I wanted to share something like this with my nieces.

The typical children's vacations mentioned online are more "Disney" or "Legoland" than "pilgrimage". But those are not the vacations I would take (Disney), and they are not the vacations that create the kinds of memories I seek.

Any thoughts you are have are welcome. And any reports on your pilgrimage are welcomed as well!
