Have you walked any of the camino paths before? I'm curious why you would go Conques to SJPDP and wondering if you have already walked the section from Le Puy to Conques? Not that there is anything wrong with Conques to SJPDP, just that most people start in Le Puy, and from there to Conques is lovelyl.

Do you prefer walking in Spain or in France? Do you like lots of people on the Camino or not? (I have never walked from Conques but I would imagine it is more solitary than the CF?)

If you still can't decide, how about doing one this year and the other next year? ;)

Ah, that explain. I guess it depends on whether you prefer walking in France or Spain. I would walk Conques to SJPDP, with the intention of coming back another year and continuing from SJPDP.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
I enjoyed the Le Puy and walked it twice, once via Cajarc and Limogne-en-Quency, and once via the Cele Valley. But I've also walked the Camino Frances three times. Because I loved that too.
Nice to think that whatever you decide will be wonderful.
