Help preventing chinches

I´ve read in a previous post that it is important to spray the backpack and sleepingbag before going. How long does that last ? Do I have to buy a spray when in Porugal and spray it now and then - and carry the spray all the way :? ?? :?:

The Permethrin should last about 30 days.
The spray I use last 30 washes and I only sprayed my stuff once before I left.

In what kind of dtore do you buy permethrin ?? I can´t find it here in Brasil :cry:
