Hey all.
I've notice a lot of threads on the forum asking for advise on how to choose walking boots, so I thought I'd put up a couple of links to 2 videos that I think will be helpful.
The first is how to choose your boots and the second is how to make sure that they fit correctly.
They are from a British based company so the sizes referred to are UK sizes.
I hope you find it useful. I personally have used the advise given for years even when buying regular footwear and found it invaluable.

Hope it helps.
Steve.

Note. I don't work for this company and certainly am not getting any benefit from posting these links. Just trying to help out a little.

Buen Camino.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

second video
it is a very good video and idea terrain to do all these checks...same trousers and Rab top as mine.......I use a top end outdoor shop, where all the staff are the end users as well.
never considered "Go outdoors"had staff like him.........boots and shell jacket is also my motto to spend the most on at around £700/$1000...with a good pair of boots like the second video shows you can have them resoled providing the heel wear has not worn right into the second layer...

Thank you Steve

Very informative. But what caught my eye were the shoes he was wearing in the first video. What ARE those????
