Have got here after a very hard time - bad stomach made it very difficult, but feeling better now. There is a longer post on my blog.
For other pilgrims, there are very few pilgrims on this route, the Polica Local said a couple a week. No one has signed the Guestbooks in the Albrgues since early August. People know about the Camino and are extremely helpful. I particularly recommend the Albergue in Algemesi - they take your photo when you arrive as an honoured guest. Raul who works at the museum there (and helps run the Albrgue has fluent English.
It is hot, but there is no problem with the stages (although I have some long ones coming up with no food or water available between the start and finish).
Due to the stomach bug, I cut two days short by taking the train part way, but should be fine for walking now,
thanks for all the love and support - it meant a lot in a very dark time spiritually and psychologically,
