Hostal El Refugio

Does anyone know why Hostal El Refugio would not be returning my emails? I enquired about a month ago re prices and they replied. I then sent an email saying I wanted to book a room and would they confirm it. I have sent several follow up emails because I just want to know it is definitely booked, but I am becoming a bit of a nag! The reservas@hostalelrefugio.es email address is returning as unknown, although I used that previously, so I am sending them to the info@hostalelrefugio.es address. Any ideas? Thanks

I have found that many Spanish hotels do not return emails when asked for reservations. I try to book in advance for my first night after arrival, in case there are luggage complications and the last time it took 3 messages before I got a perplexed and grumpy response that they received my messages and the room is booked for me. Others have been instantaneous in their response. I just do not understand this but that seems to be how it is.

Yes tried that and sending it through Facebook into their "personal folder". Maybe "oursonpolaire" is right I am expecting a reply but they have the reservation and don't see the need. I am just trying to secure some accommodation in places where it might be difficult like Rabanal, - Posada de Gaspar are fully booked. Thanks for the help.

I have this problem all the time with Cristina at El Refugio.
They do have a Facebook page if you're online.
I got a response from her quicker that way.
