Is anyone aware of the status of Hostel Santa Ana, San Martin del Camino. The 'Only Pilgrams' site shows it is closed but in the details section shows it is open from March 27. I have sent an email direct from the Hostel's website but with no reply. I will ring as a last resort but thought this enquiry may answer my query.

A guide to speaking Spanish on the Camino - enrich your pilgrim experience.
Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-
Gronze has it as open. Your telephone may provide the definative answer.
Gracias Tincatinker, definitive action is what it will have to be. Just tried to re email before I got too definitive but it came back to me so a phone call definitively called for. Cheers

My wife and I have stayed there twice times. Their dinners are outstanding. The first time we stayed there we stayed in a private room, but shared a bathroom. The second time we had a private room with private bathroom. I don't think they turned on the heat as our room was cold at night / morning and the water in the shower was tepid at best. Our last two caminos we've hiked the alternate route and stayed in Villavante at Casa Rural Molina Galochas. Great place to stay and delicious dinner. Max and Mercedes are wonderful!

Stayed there in 2012, Ana was the perfect hostess and the food was indeed outstanding. Private room with bathroom and plenty warm as it was May.

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
We went via Mazarife in 2018 which was fine. We only did from Leon then but are starting from SJPdp this time in August and the slightly shorter direct route is appealing. Plenty of time to sort it out.

I know every pilgrim has different experiences so apologies in advance.
I too stayed here with my brother in private room it was freezing cold no heating in October, damp, shower you could not swing the proverbial cat in, my brother had to turn sideways to get into shower it was the funniest night, I have never laughed so much.
The owners could not care less it was the worst albergue I have ever stayed in I have a video somewhere of that night I will never forget thanks for the memory 🤣🤣🤣😂😂
