Just back from the Coastal route. Between Vila do Conde/Póvo de Varzim and Esposende we found a comfortable place to stay for the night at hotel Contriz in Estela.
Once you walk along a golfplace there will be a sign "hotel 1500 meters" It is a small detour to the village of Estela but the reward is a superb place to stay. When we arrived, our room wasn't ready but we got sandwiches and drinks during waiting without any charging.
The room was big and equipped with all you wish after a walk . Our room had a balcony where we could dry our washed cloths.
Hotel Contriz do not provide a diner but we were brought to a nearby restaurant by car and they made an appointment to pick us up after diner. Great service. Highly recommended.
