Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced hotel in Biarritz? I have a friend arriving at about 7pm and she wants to travel to St Jean the next day.

Join our full-service guided tour of the Basque Country and let us pamper you!
We have the same problem.
Sil, is she starting to walk the same day she's leaving Biarritz?
We still have a problem with linking Paris to SJPdP in some short journey.

Hello Kuba,
Yes, she arrives in Biarritz at about 7pm. She is meeting friends in St Jean and wants to start walking the next day.
The last train from Biarritz to St Jean is at 19h18 .
The #6 bus from the Biarritz airport to Bayonne leaves about every 30 minutes and takes about 45 minutes. Complete bus schedule here: http://www.bus-stab.com/Privee/html/aff ... gne_06.pdf
She might have to take a taxi to Bayonne to make the last bus to St Jean. The taxi will cost about 25-30 euros. http://www.taxis-biarritz.fr/htfr/0001.htm email: taxis-biarritz@wanadoo.fr
She could sleep over in Bayonne at the Hotel Paris Madrid.
Tel: 05 59 55 13 98 Fax: 05 59 55 07 22
Or, if she gets to Bayonne in time, she can take the last bus to St Jean that leaves at 21h06 and gets to St Jean at 22h18
Bus timetable to St Jean here:
http://www2.ter-sncf.com/Images/Bayonne ... -21351.pdf
If she can't get to Bayonne in time she can take a taxi to St Jean but it will cost costs between 100 - 110 euro.:
Hope this helps your planning.

I found a hotel recommended on a Virtual Tourist site.
