How are the Numbers Leaving Roncesvalles Now - Endish Sept?

Just curious if there are still lots of folks starting their caminos, now, or have the numbers diminished?

As of 3 nights ago, the volunteers said they've been full at the hostel every night.

Perhaps @Monasp from the Pilgrims Office in SJPDP could tell us what the numbers are like from St Jean.

We began in SJPP 7 days ago and the Camino has a good amount of Pilgrims walking, but it doesn’t feel crowded. The beds definitely fill up by the end of the day …

I left Burgete this morning. Once on the track I only noticed people in the towns. Along the track I would occasionally be overtaken or over take some one else. Many times I could see 100 m ahead and behind and not see any one else. I am staying at Albergue San Nicholas which is full now but was still taking bookings at lunch time.

The albergue in Roncesvalles has been full every, also this week. Many reservations, many pilgrims ....
