My wife once had to take a bus forward due to a stress fracture in her foot.
The bus bypassed our planned stop and she texted me to tell me where she actually was. I told her to just get us beds and I would just walk to where she was.
I arrived in a thunder storm about 7:30 pm.......55 km
It seemed like a good idea when I said it.o_O
This was last year on the Norte.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
