How to find month long rental along the Le Puy Route?

Hello pilgrims,
My boyfriend and I are looking to rent an apartment or home in a town along the Vezelay or LePuy routes for about a month (he works on-line and I am a writer). If you know of any rentals that meet the following criteria, please let me know:
-private accommodation with at least one bedroom and a kitchen
-has internet access
-is accessible by public transportation
-has a weekly outdoor market
-available for 3-4 consecutive weeks between July 10 and August 17, 2014

**We have been doing AirBNB searches, VRBO, HomeAway, etc. I am writing here to see if you have suggestions other than these sites, a personal reccommendation, or know of someone who has a rental.

I have rented places for up to two months from internet searches. It looks as though VRBO is becoming the dominant site.

If you know where you want to go, contact the tourist office. They can range from fantastic to useless, but worth a shot, as sometimes they have some real insight.
