I am fulled with thankfulness

Time of past OR future Camino
C. Portuguese 2021
Having just completed the Camino Portuguese (Porto to Santiago) last week, I want to thank all the people who contributed to making my Camino Portugues a success:

My wife and family for their encouragement and support; Chris, my walking buddy of four Caminos; Ivar and the members of the Forum who provided excellent information that convinced and inspired me to walk now and not to wait; Garry, a Camino guide and travel agent who kept me posted on health and safety matters in Galicia and helped me with logistics; the many Camino friends that I met along the way – you’re amazing and I am so fortunate to have met you; the people working along the Camino in the hotels, restaurants, cafes, bars, shops, transport, etc. – you were always kind and helpful; to people in in the villages, towns and cities that never failed to point out the next turn or have a kind “Bom Caminho/Buen Camino”; the air transport industry making the NYC to Porto and back home easy peasy; the people and governments in Portugal and Spain for creating an infrastructure for the Camino, it’s a treasure.

I wish all of you a safe and joyful Camino.
