I like the look of this.

Walking my last camino of my project.

Looking at the BIG map of Spain, there are just Two cities I would like to visit that I haven't yet been to; Valencia and Cuenca. So, I'm planning a route from Valencia via Cuenca starting this weekend. I'm all equipped with new winter togs and itching to get moving again. It is a very addictive thing!

Any advice on albergues etc would be greatly appreciated. Hopefully I will make enough cash in Valencia to pay my way to Cuenca - there doesn't seem to be much money making potential in between.

As ever, I am also looking for new sponsors to give my mission more purpose. I don't have a corporate sponsor for this walk. I'm hoping to collect a bit of support en-route.

I'll post here regularly as well as updating my blog. Looking forward to this walk a great deal. I'll be taking it very, very slowly ;)

I was in Valencia a couple of months ago, beginning the Levante. As far as I know, there are no albergues there, but there are cheap hostals.

The Camino Levante goes south west to Albacete so is no use to you (although I recommend the route!), but contact the amigos group in Valencia:

Thanks. I am in no rush whatsover (killing time TBH), so I may well take in Albacete before heading towards Cuenca. Pretty sure I can make enough cash in Valencia if I get all relevant permissions sorted. Hostal accommodation should be within my budget.

Thanks to Rebekah also just for the encouragement. Have to admit I found it difficult summoning up the right motivation for my final route. I really, really, really want to stay in my own home with my own bed and bathroom! But, I'm looking forward to this walk now.

Seems I'm stuck in Granada until Tuesday. This city is a trap - ask anyone who visits! Hopefully in Valencia Wednesday. Will probably work there a week before deciding what route to walk. I'll try and find out where and when the camino friends meet for some good advice.

It's been an amazing adventure so far!
