Does anyone have any good ideas about how I could spend the next two weeks around the Malaga area?
My friends are advising me to go down to Malaga as it is much warmer down there. I am guessing from there I could check out the coastline and Gibraltar etc. However I am interested in any thoughts about cheap accommodation and things to do? As I'm fairly restricted by budget.
I've just walked the Via de la Plata from Seville to Salamanca, and Istill have until the 24th at which time I have a flight booked from Santiago back to London.
I have been finding the last week or so incredibly cold and windy and my purpose of doing the Via was to be relatively warm.
I don't think I am going to walk much more although
I intend to at least get to Zamora.
Many thanks

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
It depends on what you're interested in, but three of Spain's greatest cities (Seville, Granada and Córdoba) and possibly its two most spectacular monuments (the Alhambra in Granada and the Mesquita in Córdoba) are right nearby. As I see it, these wonderful cities make Andalusia one of the most magical places in Europe.

I have been to andulucia in september and the weather was warm with some hot days. I havent done the malaga path yet but i have seen features on the caminito del rey...u are literally walking along the edge of mountains and crossing gorges. Not for the faint hearted...but definately on my list!

I have a confession. I am terrified of - and yes now feel free to laugh - the top bed in bunks with no railing/fence (something to stop you falling out). I've managed to get away with it except...
This is the latest fad for Camino stay out of the wind and woods 🤗.
What are your favorite restaurants, bars, hotels, inns, etc on the Camino Frances NOT in albergues please? Gracias.
Yes, pardon me. So I've just read this cool article about the closing of the Puerta del Perdón in the Monastery of Santo Toribio for the holy year (and it is a very beautiful peurta for sure). It...
