image.jpg Between Rates and Barcelos, there is a restaurant (Restaurant Pedra Furada) where I stopped for breakfast. A very nice place, recommended. At the restaurant they were selling a book (see photo). I wanted the book but didn't buy it then, figuring it was weight to carry and I could always buy it online on Amazon or something. Unfortunately, I cannot find it anywhere. If anyone wants to pick up a copy and mail it to me, I will happily reimburse costs. Alternatively, if anyone knows where this may be acquired online, I would be grateful for the information. Either way, any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe you can contact the restaurant to see if they can send the book to you or put you in touch with the author.

I did some research about the book also because I study Portuguese and it could be interesting for me too.
It looks like it is a very rare item to find . Carlos Basto is/was a painter , aquarelist and maybe used to be a pilgrim. He should be in his eighties by now. He issued another book about pilgrimage from probably his hometown Barcelos . that is for sale on line at the biggest bookshop in Portugal , Bertrand.

I only found a reference to the book you are looking for on a second hand website but the book seemed to be sold.😏

I'll phone them to ask if they still have some to sell and how it can be done.
That would be much appreciated! If not, I will try and contact Antonio's place in Pedra Furada. They had some for sale a couple of months ago.
