image.jpgBetween Rates and Barcelos, there is a restaurant (Restaurant Pedra Furada) where I stopped for breakfast. A very nice place, recommended. At the restaurant they were selling a book (see photo). I wanted the book but didn't buy it then, figuring it was weight to carry and I could always buy it online on Amazon or something. Unfortunately, I cannot find it anywhere. If anyone wants to pick up a copy and mail it to me, I will happily reimburse costs. Alternatively, if anyone knows where this may be acquired online, I would be grateful for the information. Either way, any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Maybe you can contact the restaurant to see if they can send the book to you or put you in touch with the author.

I'll phone them to ask if they still have some to sell and how it can be done.
That would be much appreciated! If not, I will try and contact Antonio's place in Pedra Furada. They had some for sale a couple of months ago.

Thanks!

I tried contacting him (and the general email address JLuis provided) and we'll see what happens. I can see why those pages were of particular interest. :)

Maybe the municipal is closed because of Xmas holidays.
He definitely will answer you.
The book is great ,first because of the aquarel paintings and drawings, second it is the description of the route from Porto -even a bit of the Variante Espiritual and third for me personally for my Portuguese study. Very happy with it thanks to you because I never heard about it before nor never saw it before although several times we stayed at Pedra Furada and in Barcelos

Happy 2019
