Hi! everyone.
I'm 56 years old, Korean.
I chose VDLP as my first camino and waiting for the good season-April 2017.
I already got many informations from this forum, guide, gps track...etc. Thanks to everyone here!
1000km is a long way for me. But, I think I can enjoy my challenge anyway. I'm really excited.
I'll be waiting for your advice.
Buen Camino!!

New Original Camino Gear Designed Especially with The Modern Peregrino In Mind!
I'll also be on VDLP in April 2017. Hope to meet you along the way.
I'll be on a bicycle, but promise to approach slowly, ring the bell and stop for a chat - especially if it's an uphill section.

Buen Camino.

Thanks for your reply!
I hope to meet you on the way too.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Advice is always a tricky one, but I try ;-)

I would recommend this guide book http://www.amazon.com/dp/1533170541/?tag=casaivar02-20 as it is the most up to date one in English at the moment and excellent. The resources section here on the forum also has good resources for the VdlP. The one thing to be aware of is that a) very few locals speak anything else than Spanish and b) the stages aren't very flexible, you have often to choose between rather short or rather long (30km+) stages.

But it is a wonderful way! Buen Camino, SY

Thank you SYates! Thank you for your advice!
I just bought Gerald Kelly's guide book-pdf version as you recommended. It's in my iPhone and iPad now.
I'm gonna read it again and again.
Buen Camino!!

Kind of you, but there is very little regarding the Plata in it! Download the Kindle version and if you find it useful, by all means keep it, if not, simply return it for a refund during the first seven days. Buen Camino, SY

Dear Jeonho, congratulations on your choice to do Vía de la Plata, it is an AMAZING landscape in spring time. You can find information in

http://www.gronze.com/via-plata
http://caminodesantiago.consumer.es/los-caminos-de-santiago/via-de-la-plata/

Stages can be long at times, but if you are fit you should have no problem.

Buen camino, amigo, if you need any more specific information do let us know.
Thank you Amancio!
Your advice is really encouraging.
I'll never hesitate to ask you more about Camino.
Buen Camino!!

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Jeonho Lee:

The one thing I would recommend is that you learn Spanish.

Thanks for your advice!
A little more than 10 months left to start my camino. I know it's not a enough time to learn a foreign language. Though, I'll try learning Spanish to survive in Spain.
Buen Camino!

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
